What We Fund
PROTECTING CHILDREN
The Lord's Gym Oroville offers low-cost gym memberships for anyone ages 13-17 with the aim of providing a safe, positive environment for at-risk youth. We also support projects helping children in difficult circumstances such as living below the poverty-line or in low-income households, or experiencing homelessness.
PROVIDING FOR THOSE IN NEED
We believe in valuing and caring for all people, especially those in need. We support projects that feed the destitute, support the vulnerable, help the homeless, and provide counseling and necessities to families who are struggling.
TRANSFORMING LIVES
Changing one life can impact so many more. We support projects that give people, who have experienced destruction and hopelessness as a result of addiction or otherwise, a chance to recover their lives, learn job skills, train in workforce or ministry, and become a positive part of society once more.
CHANGING CULTURE
We strongly believe that the best life comes from using your time, energy and resources to benefit others. That's why all of our businesses are run by volunteers. Our aim is to provide a way for everyone, regardless of their age, finances or talents, to invest in community transformation.
Community Events
In addition partnering with reputable nonprofits and organizations to reach those in need in our community and beyond, Father's House Restoration Ministries also supports community events that focus on serving children and bringing families together. The Lord's Gym Kids Mud Run is the premiere community event organized by the Lord's Gym and Father's House Restoration Ministries.
We also partner with local nonprofits to support community-wide events that aligns with our mission.
The Lord's Gym Kids Mud Run is a FREE annual event for kids and families. Its main purpose is give children and youths the opportunity to be physically active, enhance their confidence and well-being, and bond with their families.
Lights of Hope Oroville is a month-long event open to the public and features FREE Christmas light displays and activities for families. The goal is to encourage families and community to come together and create lasting, positive memories.
